10/28/2024

Deputies responded to an address on Deer Valley Dr. in regard to a crisis intervention. One subject was transported from the scene to an out-of-county facility for treatment.

First Responder and Deputy responded to a medical alert at an address on CR 449 due to all EMS units on other calls.

Deputy responded to SH 21 East to assist a Burleson County SO Deputy on a traffic stop.

Sheriff and CID Sergeants conducted a follow up investigation in reference to a cold case on Hwy 77 South.

Deputies and JP Precinct 3 responded to an inquest at a residence on CR 309.

Motorist met with a Deputy at the sheriff's office to report a hit-an-run minor crash on Hwy 77 South. Report taken.

Complainant reported rifle fire in the area of Main St. in Lincoln. Deputy responded to investigate and met with the source.

Sergeant met with complainant in regard to a previously reported assault. Report taken.

Deputies responded to an address on CR 133 on a report of a suspicious black male subject. The subject was gone upon arrival and was not located on a subsequent search of the area.

 

10/29/2024

Investigator met with a complainant to investigate a fraud case. Report taken and suspect identified.

Sergeant arrested a female subject at Court on an out-of-county warrant. Inmate was transferred and custody relinquished to Burleson County Sheriff's Office.

Complainant met with a Deputy to report criminal mischief on CR 130. Report taken and suspect identified.

Deputies conducted warrant service in the 6200 block of Hwy 290 East. One arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.

Lee County Dispatch received report of an ATV crash at a residence on Blaha Avenue in Dime Box. Deputies responded to the scene and one patient was transported by EMS.

Deputy responded to 8600 block of Hwy 77 North to assist another agency with a child custody matter.

Motorist contacted 911 to report that she was assaulted by her brother while driving on Hwy 290 East. Deputies responded to meet with the victim and all units searched for the suspect who fled the area on foot. Report taken.

 

10/30/2024

Sheriff, CID Sergeant, Deputies, and JP Precinct 4 responded to an inquest at an address on CR 426.

Deputy spoke with a caller in regard to an animal complaint on CR 302.

Complainant met with a Deputy at the sheriff's office in regard to a fraud report. Report taken.

Deputy responded to a minor crash in the 3300 block of Hwy 77 North where a windshield was damaged by another vehicle's blown out tire.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Hwy 290 East and a probable cause search was conducted. Narcotics was recovered and the suspects were transported to the Lee County Jail for possession of controlled substance and tampering with evidence.

Deputies assisted Giddings PD with a combative subject at E. Hempstead/Orange St.

Deputy responded to CR 326 to meet with a complainant in regard to suspicious circumstances. Information taken.

Deputies responded to 10th Street in Lexington to locate a missing juvenile. Juvenile was located and returned to family.

Caller reported a burn ban violation in the 2800 block of CR 118. Deputy responded to investigate and determined there to be no violation.

 

10/31/2024

Deputy responded to an address on Bowers Street in Dime Box to investigate criminal mischief. Report taken.

Deputy booked-in a subject who came in to surrender himself after Court.

Deputies responded to an address on Gary St. in Lexington in regard to a juvenile matter. Juvenile was located and returned to family.

Complainant reported juveniles banging on doors on Main St. in Lincoln. Deputy responded and patrolled the area.

Deputy conducted close patrols overnight in Dime Box.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check at a residence on CR 232. Information taken for follow up investigation.

 

11/01/2024

Deputy responded to an address on FM 696 East to investigate a reported stolen vehicle. Vehicle entered as stolen and report taken.

Sheriff and Deputies responded to the 4600 block of CR 133 after a caller reported a young child walking on the road. The parent/guardian was located and an investigation was launched with Child Protective Services.

Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to a civil matter.

Motorist reported a reckless driver on Hwy 290 West. Deputy located and made a traffic stop. The vehicle was towed and the driver was provided a courtesy ride from the stop location due to having a suspended license.

Deputies assisted Giddings PD with a funeral escort.

Deputies responded to the area of Rockdale St. and FM 1624 for a reported suspicious vehicle. Deputies located and identified the driver of the vehicle who had permission to be on the premises from the owner.

Complainant requested a Deputy for a verbal disturbance at an address on CR 410. Peace restored.

Deputy met with a complainant at the sheriff's office in regard to a juvenile matter. Information taken.

Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance in the 8800 block of Hwy 77 North. One of the subjects left the residence for the night. No offense.

Deputy responded to an address on CR 134 in regard to a child custody exchange issue.

Deputy and SLCVFD were dispatched to a burn ban violation on CR 208. Fire arrived on scene and advised that there was no violation.

Deputies, Lincoln VFD, and EMS responded to a major crash on SH 21 in Manheim.

Complainant reported loud music at a venue on CR 217. Deputy responded with decibel meter but no violation was detected.

 

11/02/2024

Complainant reported a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of a roadway. Deputy located a sleeping motorist and showed them to a safer location to rest.

Sergeant and Deputies responded to Dime Box to conduct follow up investigation on criminal mischief in Dime Box.

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at an address on CR 132. The suspect fled the scene and a report was taken for follow up investigation.

Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call at an address on CR 302.

Deputy responded to meet with a complainant in regard to trespassing at property on FM 141.

Deputy conducted a welfare check at a residence on FM 141 in regard to the previous call for service.

Deputies responded to a crash in the 1000 block of CR 402.

Complainant reported a suspicious person in the 800 block of Yegua Dr. Deputy responded and patrolled the area but did not locate anyone.

Deputies, VFD, and EMS responded to a major crash on Hwy 77 North/FM 1624 at the Elm Creek bridge construction zone. One transported to the Lee County Jail after being cleared at an out-of-county medical facility.

Caller reported loud music in the 700 block of Hale Street. Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate a source.

 

11/03/2024

Complainant reported animal cruelty for horses at a property on N. County Line Rd. Deputy responded to investigate. Information taken for follow up.

Deputy, DPS Trooper, Giddings Fire, and LCEMS responded to a crash on Hwy 77 North. Crash report taken by DPS.

Deputies responded to an address on Blaha Ave. for a verbal disturbance. Peace restored. No offense.

Deputies and JP Precinct 2 responded to an inquest at an address on CR 113.

Deputy responded to investigate a burn ban violation on Bowers Avenue in Dime Box.

Complainant reported suspicious noises outside of their residence on FM 3403. Deputy responded to investigate but did not locate anything.

Deputy assisted Giddings PD with a traffic stop and subsequent arrest in the 200 block of W. Austin St.

Lee County Dispatch received report of a reckless driver in the 2200 block of Hwy 77 North. A Deputy located and stopped the vehicle. The vehicle was towed and one subject was transported to the Lee County Jail.

 

BURN BAN IN EFFECT. Citations will be issued in accordance with the Lee County Prohibition of Outdoor Burning Order.

 

Deputies made 58 traffic stops, 34 close patrols, and responded to 20 loose livestock calls this reporting period.
