10/14/2024
Deputy met with complainant on CR 336 in regard to harassment. Investigation revealed to be a social media scam.
Deputy responded to CR 424 in Dime Box to meet with a complainant in regard to criminal mischief. Unknown suspect/s broke glass from several windows. Information gathered for report and assigned to Criminal Investigations Division.
Deputy met with an individual at the LCSO in regard to filing a criminal trespass warning.
Deputies respond to a disturbance at Westwood Lane. Peace was restored as the parties were separated.
Deputy responded to another case of criminal mischief at Bowers Ave. in Dime Box. Information taken for offense report.
Motorist reported two disabled 18 wheelers blocking lane of traffic on Hwy 290 West. Deputies responded to assist with traffic control until the vehicles were moved.
Complainant reported juveniles on ATV's on Meadow Run. Deputy patrolled the area but the ATV's were gone upon arrival.
Deputy responded to the Lee County Jail to investigate an assault. Information taken for report.
Deputies assisted GPD with a vehicle failing to stop for emergency vehicle on E. Austin Street.
Deputy assisted GPD with a courtesy transport to aid in an investigation in the city.
Complainant spoke with a Deputy in regard to trespassing at property on CR 107.
Deputy assisted SO Williamson County with a welfare check on CR 468.
Sergeant completed registration of sex offenders at the LCSO.
Motorist reported a minor crash involving a vehicle vs. deer on Hwy 77 North.

Deputy attempted to locate an oversized load on N. Orange Street. Unable to locate.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on Hwy 290 West with a courtesy ride for fuel.
Deputy responded to an address on Sherrill Lane to meet with a complainant in regard to criminal trespass.
Deputy responded to an address on Drewry Lane to meet with a complainant in regard to harassment.
Deputy assisted Constable Pct. 2 with civil process at an address on Westwood Lane.
Deputies responded to the 3000 block of SH 21 on a report of noise outside of a home. Deputies searched the area and no sign of criminal activity was located.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on CR 205.

Complainant came to LCSO to report on incident that occurred in Giddings. Referral made to GPD.
Deputy assisted Lee County Jail staff with an uncooperative inmate.
Deputies responded to a crisis intervention at an address on CR 309. Referral made for additional services.
10/17/2024
Deputy responded to investigate possible animal cruelty on CR 444. Deputy made contact with the livestock owner.
Deputy responded to an address on CR A in regard to an incident involving a vehicle repossession. Report taken.
Deputy responded to a crisis intervention at an address on CR 123.
Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to a suspicious phone call.
Complainant reported an individual was harassing others and trespassing at property in the 8900 block of Hwy 77 North. Deputy responded to the scene and a criminal trespass warning was served on the individual causing problems.
Complainant came to the LCSO to report a theft of a firearm. Deputy met with reporting party and a report was taken for further investigation.
Motorist reported a yellow Ford truck abandoned in the middle of CR 455. Deputy patrolled the area, however the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
Motorist reported lines down on FM 2440 causing a traffic hazard. Deputy and electric crew dispatched to investigate.
Deputy responded to a minor crash involving a truck vs. deer on Hwy 77 North.
SO Bastrop County reported a stolen vehicle possibly traveling on Hwy 290 into Lee County. Deputies patrolled from Bastrop to Fayette County lines and were unable to locate.
Deputy received report of a minor crash involving a vehicle vs. deer on CR 200.
10/18/2024
Deputy made a traffic stop on Hwy 290 West. After a probable cause search and subsequent investigation, one suspect was arrested and secured in the Lee County Jail.
Sheriff and Deputy completed a civil standby and issued a criminal trespass warning at an address on Hwy 290 East.
Investigator contacted by an out-of-state agency for assistance with an investigation that occurred in their jurisdiction.
Deputy spoke with an individual in regard to a threatening e-mail.
Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to harassment.
Deputies responded to a disturbance at an address on Deer Valley Drive.
Deputy assisted GPD with a traffic stop involving a stolen vehicle on Hwy 290 West.
Motorist reported a reckless driver that brake checked another motorist and exhibited a firearm. The call was forwarded to SO Fayette County as the vehicles were traveling on Hwy 290 Eastbound into Ledbetter.
Deputy responded to a reported burn ban violation at an address on CR 107.
Deputy checked on a suspicious vehicle parked in a business parking lot on Hwy 77 South. All okay.
Deputy assisted GPD at a scene on North Burleson St.
Motorist reported a minor crash involving a vehicle vs. animal on Hwy 77 North of Lexington. Deputy responded to investigate.
Deputy assisted GPD on a disturbance on North Ellis St.
Deputy assisted GPD with a reported intoxicated driver at a business on East Austin St.

Caller reported a child playing in a front yard on Hwy 77 in Lexington. Deputy patrolled the area for a welfare check but did not locate a child.
Deputy red tagged an abandoned vehicle on Hwy 290 East at the Fayette County line.
Caller reported a minor crash involving two vehicles in a parking lot in the 8900 block of Hwy 77 North. Deputy responded to investigate.
Dispatch notified Commissioner Pct. 2 of a tree down on CR 219.
Deputy responded to reported burn ban violation on CR 118.
Deputy responded to a crash involving a vehicle vs. livestock on FM 141. Report taken.
Complainant reported a physical disturbance in progress at an address on CR 123. Sergeant and Deputies responded to the scene. After an investigation, one suspect was arrested and secured in the Lee County Jail.
Complainant reported a noise disturbance at property on CR E. Deputy located the source and advised that the music volume would be lowered for the night.
Deputies responded to GPD to assist with an individual.
Complainant came to the LCSO to speak with a Deputy in regard to identity theft.
10/20/2024
Deputy responded to an address on CR 306 to conduct a requested welfare check on an individual. All okay.
Deputy assisted GPD with a traffic stop on Hwy 290 West.
Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to harassment. Report taken.
Deputies responded to the Lee County Jail to assist with an uncooperative inmate.
Deputy responded to a minor crash involving a vehicle vs. deer on SH 21 in Lincoln.
Caller reported teenagers hanging around a dumpster at 10:46pm at Pct. 4. Sergeant patrolled the area, however the subjects were gone upon arrival. No criminal activity located.
Caller reported a runaway juvenile from an address in Lexington. A responding Deputy located the juvenile who was returned to their parent.
Deputies made 76 traffic stops, 23 security checks, and responded to 27 animal complaints for this reporting period.
BURN BAN IN EFFECT. Citations will be issued in accordance with the Lee County Prohibition of Outdoor Burning Order. Your compliance is appreciated. We do not want to tie-up our volunteer fire and law enforcement resources.
