9/9/2024

Deputies responded to a reported 18-wheeler rollover crash in the 1600 Block S. Hwy 77.

Deputy transported inmate to TDC Huntsville.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check at a residence on CR 133.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check at a residence on CR 405.

Deputy responded to investigate a reported burglary of a habitation on PR 8004.

Deputy responded to investigate a report burglary of a building on Main Avenue.

 

9/10/2024

Complainant called to make a fraud report. Deputy met with the reporting party and took information for a report.

Deputy transported one male subject from District Court to the Lee County Jail.

Complainant reported fraud. Deputy spoke with the reporting party and took information.

Complainant reported several vehicles blocking Blaha Avenue. Constable and Trooper responded and there were no vehicles blocking the roadway.

Motorist reported a downed tree blocking the roadway at FM 141/CR 430. Deputy responded to clear the road.

Deputies responded to a report of a verbal disturbance in the 8800 Block of N. Hwy 77. Deputies determined that the two parties were being civil.

Deputy assisted a Trooper with a traffic stop at Austin/Leon Street.

Deputy made a traffic stop on E. Austin Street. One male subject was arrested on an outstanding out-of-county warrant and transported to the Lee County Jail.

 

9/11/2024

Motorist reported a stranded motorist at FM 180/FM 1697. Deputy responded to assist.

Sergeant conducted a sex offender registry at the sheriff's office.

Sergeant Investigator conducted investigation pertaining to reported school threat at Dime Box ISD. Unfounded.

Deputy met with a complainant at the sheriff's office in regard to a civil matter.

Sergeant conducted a sex offender registry at the sheriff's office.

Deputy responded to Hwy 290 West to assist with traffic control for a grass fire.

 

9/12/2024

Deputy responded to a residence on FM 180 to assist a citizen with a skunk problem.

Deputy, Investigator, Captain, and Sheriff responded to an oil pad site located off of FM 2440 for an industrial accident. Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 was summoned to the scene to hold an inquest.

Deputy responded to a reported criminal mischief off of CR 131. Report taken.

Deputies conducted a requested welfare check on CR F.

Deputies assisted Giddings PD with traffic control at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on West Austin/Dallas Street.

 

9/13/2024

Male subject surrendered himself at the sheriff's office on a Lee County warrant. Deputy secured suspect in the Lee County Jail.

Deputies and Investigator responded to a medical call on CR 402.

Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance on Hilliard Street. Deputies determined it was verbal only.

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on CR 132.

Caller requested to speak with a Deputy in regard to fraud. Report taken.

Deputy completed an information report in regard to a dog bite.

Deputy spoke with a complainant on CR 121 in regard to an animal complaint.

Complainant reported a theft on CR 123. Deputy responded to investigate and report.

Deputy responded to FM 141 in Dime Box to assist a motorist with a vehicle unlock.

Deputy responded to a minor one vehicle crash on SH 21/CR 402.

Deputy checked on a suspicious male subject walking on SH 21 in Old Dime Box.

Deputy responded to CR 308 on a report of damaged fence with vehicle parts left behind. Report taken.

Deputies responded to a medical call on FM 1624. Justice of the Peace Precinct 3 summoned to hold an inquest.

Complainant reported a disturbance on Blaha Avenue. Deputies met with the involved parties and a report was taken.

 

9/14/2024

Complainant reported a white Ford F-150 driving reckless at CR 309/FM 696. Deputy patrolled the area; however, the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check at a residence on CR 114.

Complainant reported a lock cut on one of their gates on CR 121. Deputy met with involved parties and a criminal trespass warning was served.

Deputy responded to a medical call on CR 331. The patient was determined to be entered as a missing person and was transported to a medical facility by EMS.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on SH 21 with a courtesy ride.

 

9/15/2024 

Complainant reported that their vehicle alarm went off at 2:11am and they noticed their vehicle was rummaged through with the keys missing. Deputy responded to investigate and report. Determined to be a civil matter.

Caller reported two suspicious male subjects arguing on the side of FM 141. Deputy responded to investigate and determined it to be verbal only; parties separated.

Deputy responded to assist a stranded motorist on Hwy 290 West. They had a flat tire and their children with them. Deputy assisted with tire change.

Complainant requested Deputies to Westwood Lane on a report of suspicious activity. Deputies arrived to patrol the area; however, no one knew where the individuals had gone.

Deputy responded to a convenience store in Lexington on a report of a suspicious person bumping into things. The individual had got into a car and left prior to arrival.

Complainant on CR 326 made a theft report in regard to their mailbox. Information taken.

 

Deputies made 81 traffic stops, 22 security checks, and responded to 36 animal complaints for this reporting period.
