7/29/2024
Complainant on FM 180 reported a violation of a protective order. Sergeant responded to investigate.
Motorist reported a vehicle broken down in a lane of traffic on SH 21 W. Deputy responded to conduct traffic control until a wrecker could arrive.
Complainant on CR 332 reported illegal dumping. Deputy responded to investigate.
Complainant reported a stray dog that wouldn't leave their property on PR 8031. Upon the Deputy's arrival, the animal fled the property.
Complainant on CR 401 requested traffic enforcement for speeding trucks.
Complainant from Stephen F. Austin Ave. reported a known female entered their property and stole beer. Deputy responded to investigate.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist with a tire change on SH 21 in Old Dime Box.
7/30/2024
Deputy removed debris from roadway at FM 141/CR 130.
Deputies conducted warrant service on a male subject at a residence on FM 180 stemming from a previous criminal trespass report.
LCSO Air-1 (Drone) was launched to supplement a follow-up criminal investigation.
Complainant on PR 7706 was experiencing problems with neighbor's dogs running his cattle. Deputy responded to meet with both parties.
Deputy was flagged down on Hwy 290 W by a motorist whose windshield was damaged by flying debris from another vehicle. Information taken.
Complainant reported a white Chevy diesel truck speeding through the neighborhood on Hope Street. Deputy responded to patrol the area; however, the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
7/31/2024
Complainant from CR 322 reported a burglary of a vehicle. The vehicle was not stolen; however, items were stolen from within the vehicle. Deputies responded to investigate this and several other similar cases on CR 105, 205, 211, 318, and 415 and FM 448. These reports have been forwarded to LCSO criminal investigations division.
Lee County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a group of male subjects fighting in the parking lot of a convenience store in Old Dime Box. Three Deputies responded to the call, however the male suspects had gotten into the same vehicle and left toward Burleson County on SH 21. Information was passed along to SO Burleson County.
Complainant on Walnut Street reported their ex-spouse stole a cell phone. Deputy responded to investigate.
Sergeant responded to a property on CR 440 for an animal welfare check after a complainant reported a poor looking horse.
Deputy met with a complainant in regard to terroristic threats. Information taken.
Deputy summoned a wrecker for an abandoned vehicle at Hwy 290 W/CR 203.
SO Bastrop County requested a Lee County Deputy to N County Line Road for assistance with civil process.
Deputy assisted GPD with searching occupants of a vehicle where narcotics were located. A male and female were arrested and secured in the Lee County Jail.
Deputy summoned a wrecker for an abandoned vehicle on CR 401.
Deputy removed debris from roadway at SH 21/CR 430.

Deputies responded to a business on Hwy 290 E for a civil standby.
Motorist reported a male subject walking on CR 107 trying to flag people down. Sergeant located the individual and warned him to stay off the roadway.
Sergeant assisted Lexington PD, and Constables Pct. 2 and 3 with warrant service at an address on Hale Street. One subject was arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.
Complainant reported that their storage unit on Main Street in Lincoln had been burglarized. Deputy responded to investigate.
Deputy assisted a citizen with a civil standby at a residence on Hwy 77 N.
Deputy took a report of a dog bite that occurred on PR 4484.
Complainant reported a suspicious male subject at a Church on FM 180. Deputy responded and located the individual in question. No offense.
Deputy and Constable Pct. 2 responded a business burglary alarm on CR 208. The gate was found open, however no suspicious activity was observed.
Deputy assisted GPD with traffic control at a crash scene involving a semi-truck and another vehicle on W. Austin Street.
Complainant reported a white car driving recklessly on CR 425. Information noted for patrol.

Deputy assisted GPD with a two-vehicle crash on W. Austin Street and removed a small refrigerator from the roadway.
Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock at a business on E. Austin Street.
Deputy assisted another citizen with a vehicle unlock at a residence on E. Austin Street.
Deputy, Lexington PD, and LCEMS responded to a two-vehicle crash on FM 112. One male subject was arrested at the scene and transported to the Lee County Jail, after being medically cleared at an out-of-county facility.
Complainant reported a suspicious vehicle parked at Hwy 290 W/CR 205. Sergeant made location and met with the individual who was awaiting his father.
Caller requested a welfare check on a male subject with a bike in the ditch near FM 448/FM 2239. Sergeant made location and met with the individual who was okay.
Motorist reported a semi-truck that was failing to maintain a single lane of traffic near Hwy 77/CR 329. Deputy located the vehicle and made contact with the driver.
Deputy stopped out on a vehicle that was blocking the roadway at Hempstead/S. Leon Street. GPD was contacted.
Caller reported a male subject walking along CR 118. Sergeant made location and met with the individual.
Deputy completed a welfare check on a child at a residence on Hwy 77 N. All okay.
Complainant reported possible animal abuse on CR 326. Deputy made location and found that the animal was being treated by a veterinarian.
Sergeant assisted a motorist with a vehicle unlock at a convenience store in Lexington.
SO Bastrop County reported a vehicle pursuit going over 100 miles per hour on Hwy 290 headed toward Lee County. Deputies and Troopers were enroute to assist, when BCSO advised that the pursuit turned on SH 21 toward Bastrop.
Deputies responded to investigate a one vehicle crash on FM 141.
8/3/2024
Complainant reported a male subject walking on CR 133 who was leaving trash as he walked. GPD and Sergeant checked the area but were unable to locate the individual.
Motorist reported an 18-wheeler crash at Hwy 77/CR 455 that was blocking all lanes of traffic. Deputy, Constable Pct. 2, LPD, LCEMS, Lexington VFD, and Lincoln VFD responded to the scene.
Deputies also responded to another crash involving an 18-wheeler vs. truck.
Deputies assisted LPD with a traffic stop/vehicle search. One male subject arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.
Motorist reported a two-vehicle crash on SH 21 E. Deputies, LCEMS, and Dime Box VFD responded to the scene. Deputy provided a courtesy ride to a nearby convenience store to one individual.
Deputies responded to conduct a welfare check on an individual who was reported to be in crisis. The individual was located and determined to be safe.
Caller reported a male subject on CR 135 that ran off into the trees. Sergeant responded but did not locate anyone in the area.
Sheriff conducted night patrols of Dime Box, Tanglewood, and South Lee County.
Motorist reported a two-vehicle crash on Hwy 77 S near CR 220. Deputies, Trooper, GVFD, and LCEMS responded to the scene. One male subject was transported to the Lee County Jail after being medically cleared at an out-of-county facility.
8/4/2024
Motorist reported an overturned semi with cattle trailer (empty) on FM 112/CR 347. Deputies arrived at the scene and confirmed entrapment. LCEMS, and Lexington VFD responded to the scene.
Complainant reported a theft at their property by a known property. Deputy responded to investigate.
Lee County Dispatch received two calls in regard to a large limb blocking the roadway on CR 216. Commissioner Pct. 2 was notified.
Deputy took report of a stolen firearm from a complainant on FM 696 W.
Motorist reported a white Dodge Charger driving reckless on Hwy 77 S. Deputy located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
Lee County Deputies have been busy conducting close patrols where suspicious activities have been reported. We remind our citizens to keep vehicles locked and remove valuables in order to help prevent the consequences of theft.
Lee County Schools will soon be back in session. Use caution and drive safe in the school zones and when buses are loading/unloading. There is zero tolerance for these type of traffic violations. We wish all of our students, teachers, bands, and teams a safe and successful school year.
