March 24, 2025

Deputy responded to a minor one-vehicle crash at Hwy 290 East/FM 180.

Deputy responded to PR 8031 to investigate a theft. Complainant reported the theft of an Amazon package.

Sergeant recovered a stolen trailer for SO Grimes County.

Deputies and Constable Pct. 2 responded to a reported domestic disturbance on CR 430. Upon further investigation, it was determined that no offense took place and parties separated.

 

March 25, 2025

Deputies responded to a structure fire on CR 133 with Giddings, Post Oak, and Ledbetter VFDs.

Deputies responded to a brush fire on CR 118 with GVFD and SLCVFD.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on CR 430 and one male subject was arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.

 

March 26, 2025

Complainant reported loud music and people shooting on CR 306. Sergeant patrolled the area, unable to locate the individuals.

Deputy red-tagged a reported suspicious Jeep on FM 2239.

Complainant reported shots fired in the area of CR 226 at the Fayette County line. Lee and Fayette County Deputies patrolled the area, unable to locate.

 

March 27, 2025

Deputy checked on an elderly motorist parked behind a truck stop on SH 21. The male appeared to be disoriented. Deputy was able to contact family members and waited with the driver until his family arrived.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Hwy 290 East. One subject was arrested for Possession of Marihuana and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon and booked into Lee County Jail.

 

March 28, 2025

Deputy met with a citizen in Lexington to investigate and take report of threats.

Complainant reported a suspicious male subject on CR B. Complainant called back to advise that the male was a relative of an area resident. No offense.

Sheriff and Deputies took numerous reports of a scam caller demanding payment for missed court dates/jury duty. SCAM.

Deputy responded to meet with a complainant on CR 312 in regard to criminal trespass. The complainant has observed subjects on a UTV trespassing.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check at a residence on FM 141. All okay.

 

March 29, 2025

Sheriff, Deputies, Dime Box VFD, and Commissioner Pct. 4 responded to a semi crash on CR 430. The road was closed for clean-up of asphalt mix. The driver was arrested after DPS investigation and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Caller reported a suspicious red Chevy truck parked by a mailbox on PR 7715.

Captain, Deputies, and Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace responded to an address on CR 217 for an inquest.

Deputies conducted warrant service on PR 8063 and one suspect was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputies and Troopers responded to Shady Oaks on a report of a male subject in a black truck brandishing a firearm. Subject was not located. Active investigation.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Hwy 290 East. The driver was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and booked into the Lee County Jail.

 

March 30, 2025

Deputies responded to assist with a major crash at SH 21/CR 402 involving a semi.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on FM 1624. The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant and was booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy met with the owner of an aggressive dog on FM 141 that was running loose.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on SH 21 and the driver was arrested for DWI and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy responded to an address on FM 141 for snake removal. The snake was removed and released on its own recognizance.

 

Deputies initiated 79 traffic enforcement stops, made 44 security checks, and responded to 32 animal/loose livestock calls.
