March 17, 2025

Deputy responded to a requested welfare check on CR 326.

Deputy met with a concerned citizen in regard to suspicious activity at property on CR 304.

Deputy met with a complainant to investigate fraud. Report taken.

Deputies responded to Avenue G for a crisis intervention.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on FM 3403. After a consent search was conducted one male subject was arrested for Possession of Firearm by Felon and transported to the Lee County Jail.

 

March 18, 2025

Deputy conducted warrant service on Giddings Street. One male subject was transported to the Lee County Jail.

Deputies investigated a disturbance that occurred at Westwood Lane. Citations were issued to the involved parties for Disorderly Conduct.

Complainant reported a suspicious vehicle parked at FM 1624 & CR 326. Deputy located the individual who was identified as a construction worker that was assigned to keep semi traffic off the bridge.

Complainant reported a male subject trespassing on Inge Street. Deputy located the individual who was issued a citation for Theft.

Deputy responded to a loud music complaint on PR 3094.

 

March 19, 2025

Deputy met with a complainant in regard to a criminal trespass notice. Information report taken.

Deputy made a traffic stop in the 8700 block on Hwy 77 North. The driver was arrested for Driving While License Invalid and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.

Complainant reported a suspicious vehicle parked on CR 317. Sergeant arrived in the area and located the vehicle that belonged to a local residence.

Complainant reported the theft of a scope from a firearm on CR 430. Deputy arrived to investigate.

Sergeant initiated a traffic stop near FM 141/FM 1697. After further investigation, the driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to Lee County Jail.

 

March 20, 2025

Complainant reported suspicious activity at a residence on CR 430. Deputies arrived on scene and determined that a resident didn't have their key so they crawled through a window. No offense.

Sheriff, Deputies, GPD, and Pct. 2 Constable assisted GVFD with traffic control for several grass fires along Hwy 290 West.

Sergeant met with a complainant in regard to an assault on Hwy 77 South.

Deputy made a traffic stop on Hwy 77 North. The driver was arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail for Possession of Controlled Substance.

 

March 21, 2025

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on SH 21.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a major two vehicle crash at Hwy 290 East & FM 180.

Deputy assisted a motorist with a vehicle unlock.

Deputies and Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace responded to an inquest on CR 131.

Deputies assisted at the scene on a crash on Hwy 290 West.

 

March 22, 2025

Deputy assisted GPD with a road rage/man with a gun call on East Austin Street.

Deputy assisted a motorist with a vehicle unlock in the Walmart parking lot.

Deputy made a traffic stop on FM 141 in Dime Box. One male subject was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and transported to the Lee County Jail.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor crash in the 4300 block of Hwy 77 North.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a major crash on CR 202.

 

March 23, 2025

Deputies responded to a noise complaint which was located on CR 306.

Deputy responded to a noise complaint in the 4100 block of East Austin Street.

Sergeant responded to Inge Street for a criminal trespass complaint. One male subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputies assisted GPD with a combative prisoner at a disturbance on West Liberty Street.

Deputies assisted at the Jail with a medical complaint for an inmate.

 

Deputies initiated 77 traffic enforcement stops, made 34 security checks, and responded to 19 animal/loose livestock calls.
