Motorist reported a one vehicle crash in the 1700 block of S. Hwy 77. Sergeant, Trooper, Giddings Fire, and LCEMS responded to the scene.
Sergeant responded to grocery store in Giddings to assist motorist with a vehicle unlock.
Deputy met with a complainant at the sheriff's office in regard to a protective order.
Caller from a residence on FM 141 reported a male in a blue Toyota Tundra came to their residence asking to pave their driveway. Caller just wanted to alert the SO that pavers are out in the area.
Deputy responded to a requested welfare check on a child in the 4100 block of E. Austin St.
Complainant reported their juvenile daughter missing from their residence on FM 141. Deputies responded to the area and the juvenile was located and returned.
Motorist reported a two-vehicle crash at SH 21/Hwy 77. Deputies, Trooper, Lincoln Fire, and LCEMS responded to the scene.
Caller reported an elderly female knocking on her door at 2:45am asking for help. Deputy responded to CR 133 and made contact with the individual.

GPD requested assistance at S. Waco/W. Austin St. Deputies responded and a report was made for the agency assist.
Deputies transported a juvenile for processing.
GPD requested assistance with a vehicle unlock on N. Joekel Ave. with a child in the vehicle. Sergeant responded to unlock the vehicle.
Deputies responded to a residence on CR 103 for a civil stand-by.
6/5/2024
While on patrol, Reserve Deputy found a telephone line down on CR 223. Dispatch contacted Verizon.
Deputies assisted GPD, Giddings Fire, and LCEMS with a two-vehicle crash at Hwy 77/FM 448.
Motorist reported a one vehicle crash on FM 448 near Rabb's Creek. Deputies responded to the scene and a wrecker was summoned for the vehicle. Crash report taken.
Motorist reported a one vehicle crash that drove thru a fence and into a tree. Deputies, Trooper, Blue Fire, Squad 1, and LCEMS responded to the scene.
Deputy in pursuit of motorcycle on Hwy 77 N. The pursuit went into Milam County and then back into Lee County where the suspect fled on foot on CR 313. The suspect was apprehended by Deputies a short time later. The white male suspect was transported to Lee County Jail. Constable Pct. 2 and Lexington PD assisted at the scene.
Complainant on N. Rockdale St. reported loud noise coming from neighbor's residence. Deputies checked the residence, and all was okay.
6/6/2024
Complainant from CR 309 reported a theft, where a mailed package was never received. Deputy took report.
Deputy responded to a residence on FM 141 to serve a Criminal Trespass Notice.
Deputy took an information report from a resident on CR B in regard to the theft of a tractor.
Complainant from FM 180 met with a Deputy to report a theft of US currency from their vehicle. Report taken.
Deputies assisted Giddings PD with a disturbance at a motel in 4000 block of E. Austin St.
Concerned citizen reported a suspicious person walking near the Church on CR 211 with a flashlight at 2:20am. Deputy responded and located the individual who claimed his vehicle broke down. Deputy located the vehicle, and the subject was walking to a nearby friend's house.
6/7/2024
Deputy responded to CR 302 to conduct a follow-up investigation on a previously reported theft.
Deputies assisted another agency with a child welfare check at a residence on FM 696 W.
Complainant reported a white Ford pickup driving at a high rate of speed on CR 231. Deputy responded to patrol the area; however, the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
Motorist reported a reckless driver on SH 21 westbound. While on the phone with the Dispatcher, the caller reported that the vehicle crashed in the curve near the Bastrop County line. A Deputy and Trooper responded to the scene along with Lincoln Fire, and LCEMS. The driver was transported to Lee County Jail and two children were released to relatives.
Deputies responded to a residence on FM 141 in regard to several unwanted individuals on their property. Deputies located the individuals and issued Criminal Trespass Notices.
6/8/2024
Complainant from CR 306 reported a company cutting trees on their property. Deputy responded to the scene to make contact with the involved parties.
Deputy assisted citizen with traffic control on FM 141 while their vehicle was removed.
Caller reported a suspicious vehicle on CR 425 near the hall. Deputy patrolled the area, but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
Citizen from Westwood Lane reported an aggressive dog on their porch. Deputy responded and located the animal, which was aggressive, and had to be sprayed with pepper spray, prior to transport to animal shelter.
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on SH 21/CR 440. The driver was arrested subsequent to an investigation for driving while intoxicated and transported to Lee County Jail.
6/9/2024
Complainant from CR 426 reported that someone entered their property and had shot at the caller's dogs. Deputy responded to investigate. The suspect was identified.
Deputies responded to a crisis intervention at a residence on FM 141. The matter was settled.
