Sergeant spoke with a reporting party in regard to estray livestock on CR 430.
Deputy met with a reporting party on FM 1624 in regard to illegal dumping.
Deputy met with a reporting party in regard to reckless driving in Serbin.
Deputies responded to a minor crash on SH 21 West.
Sergeant investigated fence damage on CR 117.

Sergeant met with a victim of fraud at the sheriff's office. Report taken for investigation.
Deputy spoke with caller that reported a bag of trash that fell from a truck and caused damage to another vehicle on the highway. Information documented.
Deputy met with a complainant at the sheriff's office to take a harassment report.
Caller reported two juveniles riding bikes across Hwy 77 in Lexington. Deputy and LPD checked on the juveniles.
Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock on W. Austin St.

Deputy checked on a report of a suspicious truck parked in the ditch on Hwy 77 N. The vehicle was red tagged for abandonment and no criminal activity was detected.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on N. Orange St. The driver was arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.
Deputy checked on a suspicious vehicle with driver parked at the Blue VFD. Deputy determined that the subject was a weary traveler who was resting.
Deputy spoke with a parent in reference to a child custody matter.
Captain spoke with a female subject in crisis. Referral made to the proper authority.
Deputy assisted LPD with an escort.
Deputies assisted with a minor crash at SH 21/CR 426.
Deputies assisted with a major crash with fatality on SH 21.
Deputies assisted with a minor crash on Hwy 77 South.
Deputy assisted with a minor crash on Hwy 290 East.
Deputy responded to an address on FM 3403 to check on reported suspicious activity. No activity located.
Deputy responded to a minor crash at Hwy 77/FM 1624.

Deputy investigated crash at SH 21/CR 426 where sign was damaged.
Deputies responded to Jail to assist Jailers with combative inmate.
Caller reported a green van parked in the middle of Rockdale St. Deputy checked the area, but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
Deputy made a nightly security foot patrol of downtown Lexington businesses.
Deputies assisted GPD with a hit and run crash on S. Navarro.
Deputies responded to a structure fire on CR 428. Deputies met with two occupants of the affected home and awaited fire and EMS.
Deputy met with a male subject in the sheriff's office lobby who surrendered himself on a local warrant.
1/10/2025
Sergeant met with an offender for a sex offender registry requirement.
Deputy responded to address on CR 309 where unknown driver crashed into a utility pole and mailboxes overnight. Investigation determined that vehicle parts were left behind and the event was caught on a surveillance camera. Evidence collected for further investigation.
Deputy provided traffic control on Hwy 77 South after a truck spilled bolts on the highway.
Deputies were summoned to a fight between two males at a residence on CR 348. One male subject was arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.
1/11/2025
Deputy responded to a residence on CR 228 in regard to an animal cruelty complaint.
Deputy responded to a minor crash involving a vehicle vs. deer on SH 21 East.
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on a resident on FM 180.
Deputies assisted with a two vehicle crash at SH 21/PR 8026.
Deputies assisted with a two vehicle crash at SH 21/FM 1624.
Deputy responded to a residence on Hester St. to investigate a reported theft, by known persons.
Caller reported hearing gunshots in Lexington at 11:20pm. Deputies patrolled town, nothing located.
Sergeant was flagged down while patrolling CR 226 and informed of a possible disturbance at a residence on CR 226. Sergeant made location and determined there to be a verbal altercation, and the parties had calmed down.
Deputy made a traffic stop and a subsequent probable cause search revealed a firearm which was being unlawfully carried. One arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.
1/12/2025
Deputies checked on a suspicious vehicle on Hwy 77, north of SH 21.
Deputies conducted a requested welfare check, which resulted in two individuals being served with criminal trespass warnings.
Deputy assisted with a minor crash on FM 619 involving a vehicle vs. deer.
Deputies initiated 82 traffic enforcement stops, made 51 security checks, and responded to 22 animal/loose livestock calls.
