Jan 20, 2025
Deputy made report of criminal mischief at a residence on 8th Street. Caller reported a damaged door knob.
Deputy made report of criminal mischief in the 5600 block of Hwy 290 East. Caller reported damage to their vehicle overnight.
Sergeant worked a minor crash report in the 4600 block of Hwy 77 North.
Shortly before midnight, Deputies began reporting road conditions to TxDOT.
Jan 21, 2025
Deputy worked a minor crash on FM 448. The driver contacted the fence owner to make arrangements to repair.
Deputy made report of estray livestock on PR 1417.
Deputies responded to a disturbance on CR 203. One juvenile was transported to an out-of-county facility for treatment.
Deputy responded to Drewry Lane on a report of suspicious activity. The property was secure and no one was located.

Deputy transported a juvenile to an out-of-county facility for treatment.
Deputies responded to CR 114 in Loebau to search for a suspicious vehicle. Caller reported a maroon Lincoln town car with a white male with long beard was parked in the caller's driveway. The vehicle was gone upon arrival and was not located in the area.
Deputy made a traffic stop on Hwy 290 for a violation. The driver was found to have an outstanding Lee County warrant. Driver was arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.
Deputies responded to Deer Valley Road for a reported verbal disturbance.
Jan 23, 2025
Female subject surrendered herself at the sheriff's office. Deputy booked the female into the Lee County Jail on a local warrant.
Caller reported a reckless driver on CR 214. Deputies initiated a close patrol.
Deputy met with a complainant to investigate a report of credit/debit card abuse. Report made.
Deputy responded to Westwood Lane for a noise complaint.
Deputy responded to CR 226 to check on a male and female that were going door-to-door. Deputy located and identified the individuals.
Deputy checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 4200 block of SH 21 East. Driver was resting.
Deputies conducted a requested welfare check on North Rockdale Street.
Deputy red-tagged multiple vehicles on Hope Street.
Jan 25, 2025
Deputy met with a private investigator at the sheriff's office with a subject that had an out-of-county warrant. Subject was booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort in Giddings.
Deputy assisted with traffic control for a disabled semi-truck on Hwy 77 North until a heavy duty wrecker could arrive.
Deputy checked on suspicious activity in the 2800 block of CR 309. All secure.
Deputy checked on suspicious vehicle call on CR 229. Deputy located and identified a construction worker who was supposed to be there.
Deputy responded to an address on CR 327 for an inquest.
Jan 26, 2025
Deputies responded to an address on CR 108 for a domestic disturbance. One subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Sergeant met with four offenders as part of sex offender registry requirement.
Deputies responded to a two vehicle crash on FM 180.
Life360 reported a crash detection on CR 105. Deputies responded and determined that a dropped phone caused the alert - no crash.
Dispatch received a report of an explosion in the area of CR 130. Sergeant made contact with residents in Ledbetter that were shooting tannerite on their property.
Deputy assisted motorist with a vehicle unlock on E. Austin Street.
Deputies initiated 46 traffic enforcement stops, made 31 security checks, and responded to 10 animal/loose livestock calls.
We have received reports of vehicles disregarding school buses on Hwy 290 East and on CR 214. There is a zero-tolerance policy for these type of violations, meaning any/all violators receive citations. Help us keep our youth safe.
