Feb 3, 2025

Sergeant met with an offender for sex offender registry requirement.

Sergeant met with an offender for sex offender registry requirement.

Deputy issued citations to drivers for blocking the Hwy 290/Hwy 77 intersection.

Deputies met with an individual for a crisis intervention assessment. Individual was transported to an out-of-county facility for treatment.

Lee County Dispatch received a report of a physical domestic disturbance on Blaha Street. Deputies responded to the scene with Pct. 2 and Pct. 4 Constables. The suspect fled the scene, but was located, arrested, and transported to the Lee County Jail.

Deputies were called out to CR 102 in regard to criminal mischief. The complainant reported that their vehicle glass was possibly shot out. Deputies determined that the damage was caused by a rock, and the matter was unfounded.

CID Investigators traveled to Travis County to attempt civil process for a District Court matter.

Deputy responded to a noise disturbance on Westwood Lane.

 

Feb 4, 2025

Deputy checked on a juvenile that was walking on the roadway on their way to school on North Main Street.

Deputy responded to a residence on Turner Lane for a verbal disturbance. The matter was determined to be of a civil nature.

Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to a close patrol.

Sergeant responded to CR 309 on a report of a suspicious male subject. The individual was located, identified, and arrested for an out-of-county warrant and transported to Lee County Jail.

Lee County Dispatch received a report of a disturbance with shots fired in the City of Lexington. Deputies, Pct. 2 and Pct. 3 Constables, DPS Troopers, and LPD responded to the scene. A male suspect was quickly identified and detained. LCSO Criminal Investigators responded to the scene to investigate. The male suspect was subsequently arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.

 

Feb 5, 2025

Caller requested a welfare check on an individual that was walking on FM 696 in Blue. Deputy located the individual and provided a courtesy ride.

Deputy met with a complainant on CR 411 in regard to a fraud report.

Caller reported neighbors shooting and expressed concerns of unsafe shooting. Deputy responded and activated their siren at which time the shooting ceased. Unable to determine which property the shooting was coming from. Deputy determined there was no evidence of a crime.

Caller reported neighbors shooting and expressed concern of their barns being shot. Deputy located the individual who was shooting and found there to be safety precautions in place. The property owner did advise that he would add-to his berm. No offense.

Deputy responded to CR 306 in reference to a juvenile matter.

Caller reported a suspicious female backed up to a closed business in Lexington. Deputy located the individual and determined there was no criminal activity.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop in Lexington after midnight. The driver was arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.

 

Feb 6, 2025

Deputy responded to FM 141 on a report of illegal dumping. Report taken.

Deputy conducted a follow-up investigation on the previously reported illegal dumping. The violator was identified and received a citation.

Motorist reported a reckless driver on Hwy 77 North traveling southbound. Sheriff and Deputy located and stopped the vehicle before the school zone on Hwy 77. The driver was warned against using the phone while driving.

Deputy responded to meet at complainant at Shady Oaks for a theft report.

Caller requested to speak with a Deputy for a property damage report. Caller reported that an item flew off a semi and caused damage to their vehicle.

Deputy responded to residence on E. Austin Street to make contact with parents in regard to a juvenile matter. The parents were referred to the school district.

Caller requested a Deputy to Hale Street for suspicious circumstances. Deputy patrolled the area and spoke with a neighbor who identified the person knocking on the door.

Sergeant and Deputy were out on FM 112 to assist another agency with an animal cruelty case.

 

Feb 7, 2025

Deputy stopped a vehicle in the Lexington school zone on Hwy 77 and issued a citation to the driver for speeding.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check of a resident on FM 141.

Sergeant met with an offender for sex offender registry requirement.

Motorist reported a suspicious person at FM 141/CR 430 hitchhiking. Deputy located, identified, and provided a courtesy ride to the individual.

LCSO was contacted by a medical facility to report a female subject with a gunshot wound. Criminal Investigators and Game Warden investigated that matter which was determined to be a hunting accident.

Sergeant met with an offender for sex offender registry requirement.

Deputy met with a complainant on Avenue E for a terroristic threat report.

Caller reported suspicious activity on CR 130. Deputy arrived and determined through investigation that no offense had occurred.

Deputy responded to noise complaint on E. Austin Street. The music was not loud, but the Deputy spoke with the source.

 

Feb 8, 2025

Complainant reported criminal mischief at a residence on CR 323. Deputy responded to investigate and determined that unknown suspect/s made forced entry into a vacant residence. The property was set for security checks and a report was made.

Complainant requested to meet with a Deputy for an animal complaint on FM 141. Unknown dogs reportedly chased and killed a calf. Report taken.

Caller requested a Deputy respond to a convenience store on SH 21 in Dime Box. Caller reported he believed some male subjects placed tracking devices on their vehicle. Deputy was to review store surveillance video and investigate further.

Deputy assisted GPD with a disturbance on S. Polk St. Caller reported a male subject was intoxicated and threatening to stab people. Suspect was transported to Lee County Jail.

Caller reported an intoxicated female who threw a bottle in a parking lot on E. Austin St. Deputies located and stood by with the suspect until GPD arrived.

Caller reported a noise complaint on Avenue C coming from a silver Chevy Silverado. Deputy responded but was cancelled after the reporting party called back to report that the vehicle had left.

Complainant reported a theft of a mailbox in the Blue community. Deputy responded to investigate and make report.

Deputies responded to Westwood Lane on a report of two females having a verbal dispute. Peace restored, no offense.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop at FM 180/FM 1697. The vehicle failed to yield until eventually coming to rest on CR 132. Additional Deputies and GPD responded to assist with a combative suspect. Two suspects were arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.

 

Feb 9, 2025

Caller reported a silver plane flying over their property. Deputy contacted FAA and determined that there was no documented flight activity.

Deputies responded to a report of criminal trespass on CR 430. Deputies determined that no criminal activity had taken place.

Deputies were called to a residence on Hwy 77 South for a report of animal cruelty. The owner reported that their goat had been shot. Deputies conducted further investigation on CR 217 to contact neighbors in the area.

 

Deputies initiated 92 traffic enforcement stops, made 78 security checks, and responded to 22 animal/loose livestock calls.
