12/9/2024
Deputy spoke with a complainant about possible animal cruelty on CR 414.
Deputies responded to Kay Street after complainant reported occupants in a white truck shooting. The vehicle was not located in the area.
12/10/2024
Caller reported a suspicious green car parked on CR 107. Deputy responded to the area but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
Deputy responded to a requested a welfare check on FM 141.
Deputy spoke with a caller in regard to scam calls. The scammer stated their packages were seized by US Customs and wanted the citizen to call another number. Instead, the citizen called the sheriff's office to confirm this was a scam.
Deputies took a report of an assault from CR 105.
Deputies responded to assist DPS with an auto/pedestrian crash on PR 2906.
Deputy and EMS responded to residence on 5th Street for a welfare check.

Deputies met with a complainant in regard to a theft by credit card purchase.
Deputy responded to SH 21 after a complainant reported a suspicious silver truck parked near their entrance. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.
Deputies conducted a welfare check on Hwy 290 West for a crisis intervention call.
Caller reported a theft from property on CR 133. Information taken by a Deputy.
Caller reported a female in a white car took mail from the neighbor's mailbox on FM 1697. Deputy responded to the area but was unable to locate the vehicle.
Deputies and EMS responded to an address on CR 415 in regard to a crisis intervention call.
Caller requested a Deputy for loud music complaint on CR 306.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist at CR 114 with a flat tire.

Deputy took a report of a semi-truck failing to yield for a school bus unloading on Hwy 290 East. Deputies are working to identify the violator from a video.
Deputy assisted GPD search for a white car that was involved in a hit-and-run crash on W. Austin Street.
Deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence on CR 132. The parties were separated.
Deputies responded to an address on CR 309 after a complainant reported a Hispanic male on their surveillance camera. Deputies searched the property and area - unable to locate any suspicious persons. No offense.
Complainant on CR 205 reported an unknown type vehicle stopped in the driveway and shots were heard. Deputies searched the area but did not locate the vehicle.
Deputy booked a male subject into the Lee County Jail that came to the sheriff's office to surrender himself.
12/13/2024
Deputy went to CR 113 to assist a motorist with a vehicle unlock.
Caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked off of FM 696 West. Deputy made contact with the owner who was to move the vehicle.
Deputies assisted DPS with a major crash on Hwy 290 at CR 234.
Caller requested a Deputy for a juvenile problem on Hwy 77 North. Deputy met with the juvenile.
Deputy responded to a minor crash on Hwy 77 in Lexington.
Deputies responded to CR 101 for a report of trespassing. The property owner and Deputies searched the property on foot but did not locate anyone.
Complainant reported a loud music call on Westwood Lane. Deputy arrived and the volume was lowered.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on FM 3403 with a tire change.
Lee County Dispatch received a crash detection alert from a cell phone provider on Hwy 290 West. Dispatch made contact with the cell phone owner who stated that his truck was stolen. Deputies located the individual who had crashed into a utility pole on Rolling Oaks Drive. The suspect was cleared by medical at an out-of-county facility and booked-in to the Lee County Jail for False Report to Peace Officer and Leaving the Scene of a Crash.
12/14/2024
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on FM 696 and the driver had an outstanding warrant. The subject was booked-in to the Lee County Jail.
Deputy responded to an address on FM 112 to conduct a requested welfare check.
Deputy investigated a report of criminal mischief on FM 1624 where fence was damaged.
Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 7700 block of FM 141. The parties were separated.
Deputy responded to a disturbance in the 1000 block of CR 123.
Complainant reported subjects on an ATV trespassing on CR 125. Deputies patrolled the area but were unable to locate the ATV.
While on patrol, Deputy checked on an abandoned box truck on Hwy 290 West. The vehicle returned as stolen from another state. The vehicle was towed from the scene and processed.
12/15/2024
Deputies were called to Lexington on a report of a man, woman, and child stealing money from the offering plate. The subjects left in a gray mini-van. After searching the area, the vehicle was not located. Sergeant obtained security footage on the suspects.
Complainant reported meeting an individual on an online dating site. Explicit photos were exchanged and the other party threatened to post the photos unless payment was received. Report taken.
Deputies responded to a crash on CR 203.
Caller reported a suspicious gray car that pulled into a driveway on CR 324. The vehicle left the area prior to the Deputy's arrival.
Deputies responded to 9-1-1 hang up calls on FM 1624 and FM 2440.
Deputies and EMS responded to a residence on CR F after receiving a call about a burglary in progress. Deputies determined there was no such offense and one party was transported for medical treatment.
Deputies initiated 72 traffic stops, conducted 28 security checks, and responded to 28 loose livestock calls.
