12/02/2024
Dispatch received a call about a one vehicle accident on FM 696 W near PR 7009. Deputies worked the accident scene.
Sergeant met with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office about a suspicious email.
Sergeant was dispatched to CR 226 for a disturbance. Information was taken for a report.
Wanted person surrendered himself on two warrants out of Lee County at the Sheriff's Office.

Deputy was dispatched to E CR 415 for assistance with a juvenile.
SO Bastrop County requested assistance at PR 2905 and Hwy 290 after a pursuit. Sergeant was able to assist.
Sergeant and Constable assisted Giddings Police Department on Hwy 290.
Deputies and Constable responded to a call about a juvenile runaway on CR 414. The juvenile was located safe.

SO Milam County requested assistance with finding a male subject involved in a theft of an ATV. Sergeant, Deputy and Constable assisted Milam County Deputies with the subject on CR 417 in Lee County.
Caller reported that a man with a gun was following them on Hwy 290 traveling westbound. The subject was located stopped at the Travel Plaza. Deputies and Constable assisted Giddings Police Department.
Chief Deputy and Deputy responded to a one vehicle accident on Hwy 21 near CR 453.
Sergeant responded to call about a burn ban violation on CR 118. Fire distinguished the fire, and the individual was given a citation.

Motorist reported he hit a deer on Hwy 77 near the Fayette County line. Deputy responded and advised the motorist was inside Fayette County.
Chief Deputy advised of a disabled vehicle on CR 107 near Hwy 21. The vehicle had a flat and was off the roadway.
Sergeant met with a complainant about a possible scam. No offense occurred.
Caller stated that she has been a victim of fraud. Deputy met with caller.
Sergeant and Deputy assisted with a major accident on FM 696 West.
Dispatch received a call about a vehicle fire on CR 203. Sergeant and Deputy assisted with the scene.
12/06/2024
Complainant reported his vehicle stolen from his residence on CR 229. Deputy met with complainant to gather information for a report. Vehicle was located in Fayette County.
Sergeant met with a complainant in Lexington to gather information on a possible assault.
Deputies responded to a few burn ban violations throughout the day. Each individual was advised of the burn ban, and warned they will be cited if they continue to burn.

Deputies assisted with a funeral escort from St. Paul's Lutheran Church to Giddings Cemetery.
Deputies assisted with a one vehicle accident on Hwy 21 East.
Reserve Deputy assisted with a funeral escort to the Burleson County line.
Dispatch received a call about a burn ban violation on Walch Lane. Individual was advised of burn ban still being in effect.
Caller reported a female juvenile walking down FM 696 near FM 112. Deputy checked the area but did not locate a juvenile walking in the area.

Dispatch received a call about an individual burning three large burn piles near the Country Club area. Deputy made contact with individual, and advised them there is still a burn ban in effect.
Deputy checked out with a motorist on FM 696 near Lexington. Driver stated they just stopped for a dog.
Sergeant and Deputy responded to CR 105 for an assault call. Information was taken for a report.
For this reporting period, Deputies made 67 traffic stops, 25 security patrols, and 26 loose livestock calls.
