Caller reported a verbal disturbance in the 3500 block Hwy 290 W. Deputy responded and met with both parties and determined the issue to be civil.
Deputy assisted a motorist with a vehicle unlock at a convenience store on Hwy 290 E in Giddings.
Motorist reported her baby and dog locked in her vehicle at a business on Hwy 290 E in Giddings. Deputy responded to perform a vehicle unlock and the child and animal were safe.
Complainant requested a Deputy to 3500 block Hwy 290 E for a customer refusing to pay for service. Deputy arrived and met the parties involved.
Motorist reported a stalled 18-wheeler on Hwy 77 S at the curve. Deputy responded and summoned a wrecker to remove the vehicle from the roadway.
GPD, LCEMS, and Deputies responded to a medical call reporting single gunshot wound. Deputy investigated the incident that occurred on CR 118 and determined it was an accidental discharge.
Complainant reported property damage in the 1100 block of Deerwood Dr. Deputy responded to investigate.
Motorist requested a welfare check on a female with dog and a flat tire on her bike on CR 118. Deputy located the female who was okay.
Deputy located abandoned vehicle parked off Hwy 77 N near Middle Yegua Creek. Vehicle was red tagged.
Deputy assisted GPD on a traffic stop where one male suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Lee County Jail.

Complainant reported a runaway juvenile from PR 4036. Deputies responded to the location and the juvenile was located.
Complainant reported the lock was cut off his gate on North County Line Road. Deputy responded to investigate.
Motorist reported a two-vehicle crash on FM 696 near CR 304. Deputy and Trooper responded to investigate.
Motorist reported a reckless driver on FM 141. Captain responded to the area but was unable to locate.
SO Hays County requested welfare check on residents on Westwood Lane. Occupants were not located there. Captain received information of their location on CR 114. Deputy was able to locate the subjects.
Complainant from CR 121 met with a Deputy at the sheriff's office to make a fraud report.
Caller reported a suspicious blue sedan parked in a driveway on CR 430. Deputy located the owner of the vehicle, and the vehicle was removed from the driveway.
Male subject surrendered himself at the sheriff's office for an active warrant out of Bastrop County. Deputy arrested the individual and secured him into the Lee County Jail.

Complainant from CR 430 reported graffiti on their trailer, water storage emptied, and chicken killed. Deputy and Sergeant responded to investigate and report.
Motorist reported a reckless driver on SH 21 W near Dime Box. Deputy was in the area but was unable to locate.
Complainant reported a reckless driver on Hope Street. Caller reported a black 4x4 extended can Chevy with loud pipes that refuses to drive safely in the neighborhood. Close patrol in effect.

Sergeant and Deputy detained two juveniles in connection with previously reported offenses on CR 430. The juveniles were processed and transported to a juvenile detention facility.
LCEMS was summoned to an address on CR 213 for a female who had fallen and been on the ground all night. Sheriff, First Responder, and LCEMS arrived to assist.
Deputy met with a complainant on CR 133 in regard to fraud.
Motorist reported a vehicle vs. cow crash on FM 696 W. Sergeant and Blue VFD responded to the scene.
Deputies conducted follow up investigation on CR 133 in regard to previous report.
Complainant reported a disturbance on CR 316. Deputies responded to investigate.
Complainant from FM 180 requested a Deputy to make a report on fence damage. Sergeant responded to investigate.
Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock at a business in Giddings.
SO Burleson County advised their Deputies and Caldwell Police Officers were in pursuit of a red truck for a felony offense on SH 21 heading toward Lee County. One Lee County Deputy picked up the pursuit at the County line and radioed ahead to other Deputies and Constable Pct. 2 who were set up with spike strips at SH 21/Hwy 77. The suspect avoided the tire deflation devices and continued southbound on Hwy 77. Giddings Police Officers set up spike strips near the city limits, however the suspect avoided the spikes again. The pursuit continued onto Hwy 290 East, where the lone male suspect abandoned his truck in the center median and fled on foot, across busy westbound traffic and into a pasture. Sheriff, Deputy, and Constable Pct. 2 gave chase, and the suspect was quickly apprehended in the pasture. LCEMS responded to ensure medical clearance, and Giddings Fire assisted with traffic control. Custody of the suspect was relinquished to Caldwell Police for transport to the Burleson County Jail.

Motorist reported a reckless driver on Hwy 290 E. Deputy responded but was unable to locate.
Deputies responded to numerous loose livestock calls.
Sergeant met with individuals at the sheriff's office for sex offender compliance.
Deputies responded to a 911 call from a child on E. Austin Street. Determined to be an accidental dial.
8/10/2024
Deputy assisted SO Fayette County with a one vehicle crash in Warda on Owl Creek Road where the vehicle struck a tree, blood was present, with no occupant. Driver was not located in the area on the Lee County side.
Passing motorist reported a male subject walking on Warda Blacktop Road. Lee County Deputy and Trooper located the individual.
Deputies assisted GPD with a funeral escort.
Deputies assisted GPD with a medical call at Caldwell/W. Austin St. One male subject was arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.
Deputies responded to a report of a verbal disturbance at a residence on Nursey Dr. Deputies were able to quell the matter.
Complainant reported a minor two vehicle crash on CR 101. Deputy responded to investigate.
Deputies were called to assist GPD at entrance to Shady Oaks where an assault was reported. One female was arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.

Deputy assisted GPD with an oversized load escort on Hwy 290 W.
Deputy responded to a civil standby at a residence on CR 413.
Caller requested a welfare check on their neighbor on CR 132. Deputy met with the individual who was safe.
Deputy responded to a civil standby on PR 5024.
Complainant reported two vehicles on their property on FM 141. Deputy responded and determined that relatives were at the location and a report was taken.
Motorist reported witnessing an assault on FM 696 W. Deputy arrived at the location and met with the parties involved. Report taken.
