I would like to remind our citizens to call us at the Sheriff's Office 979-542-2800 anytime you receive a suspicious phone call, even if the caller ID is "Lee County". Scammers do a great job of seeming legitimate. They will prey on you, claim you will be arrested, and demand money from you. Law enforcement does NOT conduct business in that manner.
Respectfully yours,
Garrett Durrenberger
Sheriff, Lee County
