RECOVERY OF STOLEN VEHICLES
On 5/27/2024, Lee County Sheriff's Office Dispatch received report of an abandoned truck on private property located on CR 314A. Deputies responded to the scene and located a blue in color 2012 Dodge 2500 pickup. The vehicle was initially reported stolen from a residence in Lee County on CR 305 on 3/8/2024. The vehicle was searched for evidence and released to the owner.
On 5/28/2024, LCSO Dispatch was notified of a gray in color 2019 Dodge 2500 pickup which was located by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in The Woodlands. The vehicle was initially reported stolen from a residence in Lee County on CR 309.
On 5/29/2024, LCSO Dispatch received information regarding the location of a suspected stolen vehicle. Deputies and Investigators responded and located a black in color 2013 Mercedes sedan. The vehicle was confirmed to have been reported stolen by the Austin Police Department. The vehicle was recovered and held for APD.
These investigations remain active, as the suspect/s have not yet been identified.
