The Lee County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Rangers are presently investigating a homicide in the death of a 43 year old male.   The Lee County Sheriff’s office responded to a call on August 2, 2017 at approximately 7:45 P.M.  at the 4000 block of CR 127, Ledbetter,  Lee County, Texas.

Justice of the Peace # 4 Danita Smith, Dime Box, Texas performed the inquest and ordered an autopsy be performed by the Travis County Medical Examiner’s office.

The investigation is ongoing.  Further information will be provided at a later time.

Update: 

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Rangers are continuing to investigate the homicide death of 43 year-old Cedro Anton Blue of Ledbetter, Texas.  The Lee County Sheriff’s office responded to a call on August 2, 2017 at approximately 7:45 P.M.  to the 4000 block of CR 127, Ledbetter, Lee County, Texas.  Blue was reported to have been sitting on the back porch of his residence where he was shot.

Justice of the Peace # 4 Danita Smith, Dime Box was called to the scene and pronounced Blue deceased.  Judge Smith has ordered that an autopsy be performed by the Travis County Medical Examiner’s office.  Autopsy results are pending.
