01/29/2024

Caller requested deputies for a physical disturbance at a residence on CR 228. Deputies responded to investigate. Suspect was cited for Assault and escorted from the residence.

Caller on Giddings St. reported a noise disturbance with the source being his neighbor. Sergeant responded to make contact with the individual.

 

01/30/2024

Sergeant transported one male subject from District Court to Lee County Jail for Contempt of Court.

Subject surrendered himself at Lee County Jail on local warrant.

Deputy provided courtesy ride to male subject walking Hwy 77 South/CR 220.

Caller on PR 7009 reported construction equipment parked in his driveway. Deputy responded to investigate.

SO Fayette CO reported an 18-wheeler driving Hwy 77 with a fire beneath the trailer. Deputies were able to get the vehicle stopped near CR 220 and South Lee County VFD was enroute.

Caller from PR 7716 reported a vehicle on fire. Deputy and Lexington VFD responded.

Motorist reported a one vehicle crash at Hwy 290/FM 180. Giddings VFD, Lee County EMS and Deputies responded to the scene.

Deputies responded to a disturbance on CR 122. Verbal only, parties separated.

 

01/31/2024

Deputies met with an individual at FM 141/FM 1697 in regard to a civil matter.

Deputy met a complainant at the sheriff's office to make a report of tampering with a government document.

Motorist reported a three-vehicle crash at Hwy 77/CR 135. Lexington officer on scene confirmed three vehicles involved at the FM 1624 intersection. Deputies, Troopers, GVFD and LCEMS responded.

Caller from FM 141 reported a male subject that was threatening him on his property. While a Deputy was responding, the caller called back to cancel law enforcement.

Deputy removed animal carcass from Hwy 77/FM 3403.

Deputy checked on an abandoned vehicle on E. SH 21. At the same time, a call came in reporting the driver of the vehicle was at a residence on FM 3403 to request a ride at 4:45 a.m. Deputy provided a courtesy ride back to his vehicle to await a wrecker.

 

02/01/2024

Deputy reported an 18-wheeler blocking Hwy 77 North of SH 21. Deputies conducted traffic control until a wrecker was able to remove the vehicle.

Caller requested a welfare check on her family member who did not arrive to work and was not answering the phone. Deputy responded and was unable to make contact at the residence. The caller called back a short time later to report all was okay.

Caller reported an abandoned vehicle parked at a convenience store parking lot in Old Dime Box. Caller was referred to contact any wrecker service of their choosing, due to the vehicle being parked on privately owned property.

Caller reported to 911 that a neighbor is harassing his worker on CR 439. Deputies responded to investigate.

Motorist reported a one vehicle crash on Hwy 77 north of SH 21. Deputies, Troopers, Lincoln VFD, LCEMS responded to the scene.

Deputy responded to adult probation for one male suspect with an outstanding warrant. Subject arrested and transported to Lee County Jail.

Multi-vehicle crash was reported on the Loop off Hwy 77 in Lexington. Deputies, Trooper, Lexington VFD, and LCEMS responded to the scene. DPS took crash report.

 

02/02/2024

Caller on CR 121 reported a black lab that appeared to be injured. Deputy responded and attempted to locate the owner with no success. Dog was transported to animal shelter.

Caller from CR 433 reported a neighbor causing a disturbance. Deputies responded to investigate. The individual was transported to an out-of-county facility for treatment.

Caller reported from CR 307 that his child's mother did not show up for child custody exchange. Information documented.

Caller reported reckless driving at CR 205/CR 207. Deputy responded to patrol the area, but the vehicle was gone upon arrival. Close patrol in effect.

 

02/03/2024

Citizen came to the sheriff's office from Hwy 77 North to report and turn-in personal property that was found in his driveway. Sergeant met with the citizen to accept the property and make a report.

Multiple 911 calls came in reporting a motorcycle crash on CR 309. Deputies, Lexington PD, Trooper, Blue VFD, and LCEMS responded to the scene.

Caller on CR 306 reported trespassing on her property. Deputy responded to investigate. Other callers reported survey stakes on their property as well. Deputy made contact with the water company responsible and noted the information.

Motorist reported the train had been blocking FM 141 in Dime Box for two hours. Dispatch made contact with Union Pacific who advised workers were on scene for an emergency stop.

Caller on CR 201 reported a family disturbance. Deputies responded to investigate. One subject was cited and released from the scene.

 

02/04/2024

Deputies responded to assist an individual with a crisis intervention. One male subject was transported to an out-of-county facility for treatment.

Citizen reported two suspicious males that approached his wife at their gate and handed her a cell phone with their boss informing they were supposed to be working on a pool. The subject left and walked down CR 324. Deputy responded to check the area, but the subjects were gone upon arrival.

Caller on CR 309 requested a civil standby. Sergeant and Lexington PD responded to assist.

Caller on CR 114 reported an injured deer. Deputy responded to the scene. The deer had an injured leg but ran off into the woods. Information shared with Game Warden.

Caller from PR 7722 requested deputies for a disturbance. Deputies arrived and met with the parties involved. A report was taken.

Game Warden reported he was checking property on FM 1624 where the property owner alerted him to three vehicles that were hunting property without permission. Deputy responded to assist.

Deputy assisted with a vehicle unlock at a business on South Main St.

Deputy assisted with a vehicle unlock at a residence on E. Austin St.

Sergeant and Lexington PD responded to a disturbance on CR 309. Parties were separated and information was shared on how to proceed with civil process.
